Tough Road Game for Beaver Brings Home Another Loss
Losing 6-0 to Penn State Scranton the Lady Lions had a tough weekend during their crossover games.
Scranton, PA - Suffering a decisive 6-0 defeat, Beaver struggling to find their footing against a dominant Scranton side. Despite the early morning kickoff, Scranton came out with energy and precision, quickly establishing control of the match. The game was marked by Scranton's aggressive offensive play and Beaver's inability to convert their chances into goals.
Penn State Beaver's efforts were highlighted by a few standout performances, despite the overall result. Katarina Eck and Andrea Chargoy were the most active players on the field for Beaver, with Eck managing three shots, two of which were on target, and Chargoy attempting four shots with three on goal. However, their efforts were thwarted by Scranton's solid defense and goalkeeping. Goalkeeper Gracie Turyan was kept busy throughout the match, facing 22 shots on goal and making 16 saves, showcasing her resilience in the face of relentless pressure.
