The Beaver Men's Soccer team has faced yet another challenging match to start to their 2025 season. Today in a 9-1 defeat against La Roche, the team showed moments of promise and resilience that they can build upon as they look forward to the rest of the season.
In their match against La Roche, Penn State-Beaver managed to find the back of the net once, thanks to Rodrigo Pedroza's unassisted goal in the first half. The team struggled to contain La Roche's offensive prowess, conceding seven goals in the first half and two more in the second. Goalkeeper Quentin Wertz was kept busy throughout the match, making eight saves despite the number of goals conceded.
