Steubenville, OH - Kicking off the season the Men 's Soccer team traveled to take on Franciscan University. Despite the 9-0 scoreline, the team showed resilience and determination, setting a foundation for growth and improvement in the upcoming season.
Quentin Wertz, the starting goalkeeper, made three crucial saves in the first half, showcasing his potential as a key player for the team. Austin Hope, who took over in the second half, also made seven impressive saves, reflecting the team's defensive capabilities under pressure.
