Beaver Dominates from Start to Finish in 102–65 Home Win
Penn State Beaver wasted no time setting the tone Thursday night, rolling to a convincing 102–65 win at the Beaver Field House with efficient shooting and balanced scoring that put the game out of reach early.
Monaca, PA - Penn State Beaver rolled to a 102–65 win on Thursday night at the Beaver Field House, building a commanding 48–26 halftime lead and never letting up after the break. Beaver's offense was in rhythm from the opening minutes, turning efficient shooting into a steady stream of points in both halves (48 in the first, 54 in the second) to put the game out of reach early.
Beaver's balance and accuracy defined the night, as the team shot a blistering 69.8% from the field (44-of-63) and 46.2% from three (6-of-13). Jabari Gayle led the way with 20 points on 9-of-11 shooting, while Ny'zir Dix added 19 on an ultra-efficient 9-of-11. Jermaine Knaff chipped in 15 points and knocked down four threes (4-of-7), and Ronyell Coston provided a perfect spark off the bench with 10 points on 5-of-5 shooting plus four assists. Beaver also moved the ball well throughout, finishing with 18 assists, and controlled the glass with a 31–21 rebounding edge.
In the end, Beaver's shot-making and depth were the difference, with multiple players producing double-figure scoring and the offense maintaining its pace for all 40 minutes. The combination of high-percentage finishing inside, timely perimeter shooting, and consistent ball movement allowed Beaver to turn its halftime cushion into a runaway final margin.
