New Philadelphia, OH - In a high-scoring affair, Kent State Tuscarawas emerged victorious over Penn State Beaver with a final score of 123-96. The game, saw Kent State Tuscarawas dominate from the start, leading 62-41 at halftime. They maintained their momentum in the second half, adding 61 points to secure the win. Kent State Tuscarawas showcased impressive shooting efficiency, hitting 59.8% of their field goals and 44.8% from beyond the arc. In contrast, Penn State Beaver struggled with their shooting, managing only 44.6% from the field and 25% from three-point range.

Jabari Gayle was the top scorer for Beaver, putting up 19 points and grabbing 4 rebounds. Teon Wynn Jr. and Trevor Franklin each added 12 points, with Franklin also securing 5 rebounds. Jiyhad Bobbitt provided a spark off the bench, scoring 13 points and collecting 7 rebounds. Despite these efforts, the team was unable to overcome the efficient offense and strong rebounding of Kent State Tuscarawas, who out-rebounded Beaver 41-36.
