Monaca, PA - Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball was back in action tonight to kick off the first PSUAC match-up of the season against Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Penn State Beaver was ready to play today after losing the first two games of the season. Greater Allegheny did not let up on Beaver today and outscored them in the first half 39-23. Beaver put up a big fight in the second half looking for a comeback, but could not outscore Greater Allegheny. The second half ended with greater Allegheny scoring 41 points to Beaver's 35. Greater Allegheny traveled home with a 80-58 win over Beaver.
Senior Izaiah Dickerson (Washington, D.C.) led the way for Beaver tonight finishing with a double-double. Dickerson scored 19 points and had 11 rebounds. Senior Devon Johnson (Washington, D.C.) finished the game with 12 points, 2 steals, and 5 rebounds. Sophomore Chris Green (Washington, D.C.) also finished the game with 12 points, 2 blocks, and 6 rebounds.
